Towaga is a new, beautifully animated 2D shooter for Android

If you’re looking for a new, addicting shooter for your Android device, you’re going to want to take a look at Towaga, a 2D game from Swiss-based developer Sunnyside Games. It takes an interesting gameplay twist on shooters and combines it with some great looking art design and animations.

In the game, you’ll control a masked man who has to defend the temple from a host of different evil creatures. The character itself does not move from the top of the temple, instead using its special spells and powers to fire at the swarm of monsters that attack while standing still. You can access extra powers at times as you battle through five different worlds.
