Who calls anymore? OK, so plenty of you still do, but it is also true the amount of users who don’t need traditional voice calls is growing. I, for one, rarely ever make a call. Seriously, it happens like once a month (if that).

Are you on the same boat as me? If you are, you might want to take a look into the latest T-Mobile rumor. Apparently, the Un-carrier is looking to introduce some new Simple Choice plans that offer data-only and come with no voice minute allotment.

The rumor comes from TmoNews‘ “anonymous source”, who has also shared a nice document detailing what these plans will look like once they launch, on March 30th. Let’s take a look at it.

As you can see, it will be possible to sign up for a $20 plan and get 2 GB of data. Prices keep growing as you request more gigabytes, but these do seem like reasonable costs. 6 GB for $35? How about 10 GB for $50?

If the pricing seems familiar, it’s because it is. These are actually the same tiers you will find in Simple Choice Mobile Internet plans for tablets and other internet devices. And just like with those plans, it seems like all of these plans will also include unlimited texting,

Any small print? We are not sure yet, but we do know the $10 Automatic Mobile Internet Discount won’t apply here. Also, if you have a BlackBerry device, it will need to come with Android or BB10 for it to work with these plans.

But tell us, how are you feeling about these possible new options? Would you sign up? Just keep in mind this is still a rumor. TmoNews has a pretty good track record on leaks and rumors, but we wouldn’t hold our breath on anything until an announcement comes around.
