The company hasn’t shared any details about the regions where the Xperia handsets are receiving the Android 13 update. There’s also no word on the firmware size, updated security patch, or other software additions apart from the known Android 13 features.
Nevertheless, you can head to the Settings page on your Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV to check if you’ve received the update. The phones are eligible for two major OS updates, which means this is the second last update to hit the devices. Android 14 will most likely be the final update for the phones, although they’ll continue receiving security patches till 2025.
