Deal: Sonos’ flagship Arc Ultra soundbar is $200 cheaper right now

The Sonos Arc Ultra just dropped to $899 on Amazon, which is $200 off its $1,099 recommended retail price. That 18% discount is a strong cut on a premium soundbar, and it also makes this the best deal we have seen on it this year.

At this price, the Arc Ultra stands out for anyone looking to build a better TV audio setup without filling the room with extra gear right away. Sonos positions it as its flagship Dolby Atmos soundbar, built to create a very wide home theater soundstage from a single bar. It uses the company’s newer Sound Motion technology to deliver stronger bass, with Sonos saying it delivers more low-end punch than the original Arc without requiring a separate subwoofer from day one.

The speaker array is designed for a 9.1.4-style Dolby Atmos experience, using front-, side-, and up-firing drivers to add height and surround effects. That means movies, shows, and games can sound bigger and more room-filling than what you get from standard TV speakers. It also includes advanced speech enhancement, which is meant to make dialogue clearer and give you more control over vocal clarity.

If you want to expand later, the Arc Ultra can also work with other Sonos speakers and subwoofers, making it the center of a larger surround setup. Amazon buyers clearly like it too, with a 4.6-star rating. At $899, this is a good time to grab Sonos’s top soundbar for less.
