The coronavirus pandemic is affecting everyone in one way or another. Most of us are stuck inside and an influx of people are performing their normal job duties at home. Many folks are also out of a job right now, which means people are spending way more time on the internet than usual.

We’ve experienced lots of internet problems recently, from slow Wi-Fi to laggy streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. We asked you last week on the website and YouTube if you’ve had any internet problems, and it looks like many of you have.

Are you experiencing any slow internet issues?

Results

Out of over 7,400 total votes, a whopping 52.55% of Android Authority readers have had Wi-Fi, mobile data, and streaming service issues over the past few weeks. That number jumps up to 69.98% if you add in all the people who’ve had either Wi-Fi/mobile data problems or streaming service issues. Separately, 13.26% of voters have been having Wi-Fi and mobile data issues, while just 4.17% have had streaming service issues.

TL;DR: Lots of people are having internet issues right now.

Just 30.02% of you haven’t experienced any issues whatsoever. But how? What services are you using that are supposedly impervious to network errors?

Here’s what you had to say

Here are some of the best comments from last week’s poll explaining why they voted the way that they did:

  • Nikolas Spiridakis: Where is the option “I always have slow internet” 😂
  • White Razor: Streaming services most affected to me… which is arguably the most important thing right now.Still, with physical hobbies on lock down I finally have time to play singleplayer games. Wait, Rise of the Tomb Raider was released in 2015? Where have I been in the last five years? Oh, being social and healthy. Right.
  • Varun Singh: The infrastructure is not capable of handling so much traffic 24hrs now that most people are at home and using WiFi broadband and Mobile data instead of their office fiber networks.
  • Montisaquadeis: Hulu Live has been bothersome for us lately.

That’s it for this week. As always, thanks for voting, thanks for the comments, and don’t forget to let us know what you thought of the results below!
