Shokz OpenRun Pro headphones get a $70 Amazon discount

The SHOKZ OpenRun Pro is built for people who want music during runs and outdoor workouts without blocking out the world around them. This open-ear bone-conduction headset from Shokz leaves your ears free, and there’s a solid deal on Amazon right now that makes it a lot more tempting.

One of the big draws here is awareness. Because the OpenRun Pro uses bone conduction instead of sitting in your ears, it’s designed to let you hear traffic and other sounds around you while you listen. It also brings stronger bass than earlier Shokz models, along with a lightweight wraparound fit that’s made for exercise. For sweaty sessions or light rain, it has an IP55 rating, so it’s built with workouts in mind.

Battery life is listed at up to 10 hours, and a 5-minute quick charge can give you about 1.5 hours of playback. It also supports Bluetooth wireless listening and works with the Shokz app for battery checks, firmware updates, EQ changes, and multipoint settings. On top of that, it holds a 4.5-star Amazon rating, which is always nice to see when you’re buying workout gear online.

As for the deal, the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro is down to $109.95 on Amazon from its $179.95 recommended retail price. That’s a $70 discount, or 39% off the RRP. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen this year, but it’s still a strong drop on a premium Shokz model that remains a solid pick for anyone who prefers bone-conduction headphones over in-ear buds.
