As promised, the Android Lollipop update for NVIDIA’s Shield Tablet will be arriving in November, the 18th of November to be exact. NVIDIA has just confirmed a date for the tablet’s update through its blog.

NVIDIA will be packing the latest and greatest Android Lollipop features into its tablet, along with a few extra apps for the gamers out there. NVIDIA’s Dabbler 2.0 art studio is set for a heavy update and user interface overhaul to match up with Google new design guidelines, along with changes to the SHIELD Hub’s interface.

To top it all off, the company’s GRID game-streaming service is now open to all US residents who own a Shield Tablet or Shield Portable. The service is powered by some hefty NVIDIA powered gaming PCs that stream gaming content over your internet connection to your Shield device. You’ll need a high-quality connection and router though, as it is very bandwidth intensive.

Access to NVIDIA’s GRID is also scheduled to arrive in Western Europe in December and in Asia come the second quarter of 2015.

An early peek at some of the update’s features can be seen in the video below.

NVIDIA is also now selling a Green Box Bundle 32GB Shield Tablet, which comes with additional redemption codes for Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, and Portal games.

Keep your eyes on that notification bar come November 18th.
