The new Samsung Freestyle Plus Smart Projector falls 21% in its first price drop

Amazon has knocked $250 off Samsung’s new Freestyle Plus portable projector, bringing it down to $947.99 from its $1,197.99 RRP. That’s a 21% discount relative to the recommended retail price, and it’s a strong one to jump on because this is the first time we’ve seen it discounted on Amazon.

It’s also the best deal we have seen this year. Until now, the Freestyle+ had been sitting at $1,197.99, so this first drop feels like a real one rather than a tiny price tweak.

The Samsung Freestyle Plus is a compact portable smart projector built for easy movie nights, gaming sessions, and room-to-room use. It can throw a 30- to 100-inch image at Full HD 1080p resolution, giving you a lot more screen than a TV can in a small package. The 2026 model adds AI-assisted setup, including automatic image alignment and tools to help with awkward placement, which is handy if you want to point it at a wall or even the ceiling.
