Can you play Roblox on a Nintendo Switch?
No, at least not yet. While the game currently runs on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and Xbox, the Switch is one of two conspicuous gaps, the other being PlayStation. There are unauthorized methods that can allow Switch play, but these involve some technical skill and risks. You might even end up unable to play any Switch games online.
Is Roblox coming to the Nintendo Switch?
There are no announced plans so far. In fact, with rumors of a new Nintendo console being revealed in 2023 or 2024, it’s increasingly likely that Roblox fans will have to wait. It wouldn’t make much sense to develop for current Switch specs when next-gen hardware might be less than a year away.
It’s not clear why Roblox has been missing in action. Its creators would, of course, have to put in the time and money to build a Switch version, but more likely obstacles are figuring out cross-platform play and how to handle microtransactions.
