The Ring Battery Doorbell 2K is Ring’s newest entry-level video doorbell, and it packs in a lot for the price. It’s a 2026 release built for people who want a clear view of who’s at the door, and there’s a strong deal on Amazon right now that makes it much easier to pick up.

This newest Ring doorbell records in 2K Retina and offers up to 6x zoom, so you can get a closer look when someone stops by. It also has a 140-degree x 140-degree head-to-toe view, which gives you a fuller picture of visitors and packages. On top of that, you get live view, two-way talk, motion detection, and phone alerts when activity is detected, so you can keep tabs on your front door from your phone.

The Ring Battery Doorbell 2K is battery-powered and uses a built-in rechargeable battery that charges over USB-C. If you’d rather connect it to your existing setup, it can also be hardwired to an 8-24 VAC doorbell system. Ring says installation takes about 10 minutes and that it supports single-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, with at least 10 Mbps upload speed recommended for 2K performance.

As for the deal, Amazon has the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K down to $44.99, from its $99.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 55% discount relative to the RRP, which means you’re saving $55. It’s not quite the all-time low, but it’s still the second-best deal we’ve seen since launch, making now a great time to grab Ring’s new budget-friendly doorbell.
