Realme has enjoyed a wildly successful first year on the market, as the Oppo sub-brand delivered several affordable smartphones. One of the much talked about features of the recently launched Realme 3 is its night mode, dubbed as Nightscape. The smartphone is probably the first one in its price segment to come with a night mode.
Realme claims that the Nightscape mode significantly improves the imaging quality in low light conditions. According to Realme, Nightscape uses AI and multi-frame exposures to give you a brighter image in low-light.
Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India confirmed that all older Realme devices will also get the Nightscape feature – although he couldn’t share the timeline for the same.
At the launch of Realme 3, the company shared that it has shipped 35 OTA updates for its entire portfolio in the last 9 months. The company has confirmed that all Realme devices will be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie and ColorOS 6.0, the company’s proprietary UI layer, in the first half of 2019.
