If you're playing Pokémon Go, you should check out this Pokéball battery pack
I love me some Pokémon, but recently I’ve been noticing my Galaxy S7 edge has been giving me low battery warnings. As fun as Pokémon Go may be, it’s an undeniable truth that the game drains your phone battery like no other. It makes sense given you’re probably using data and GPS.
But fear not, my fellow Pokémon catchers because magicalsuperstore on Etsy is selling Pokéballs that can charge your phone!
It’s pretty self-explanatory – it’s a handmade Pokéball that is about the size of a grapefruit. The twist is, you can charge the Pokéball with a regular micro-USB cable, and it becomes a battery pack! A juicy, beefy 5,300 mAh battery pack at that!
With a 2.1A USB port, the maker behind this awesome battery pack claims that you’ll be able to charge your device two or even three times throughout the day to ensure that you catch all that you can.
It even comes with a clasp that can be used to attach the Pokéball battery pack to your belt or backpack just like Ash and his friends. As if walking around and swinging your phone while screaming, “Yes, I got it!” wasn’t obvious enough, this Pokéball will for sure let everyone know that you are indeed a Pokémon hunter.
According to magicalsuperstore, the battery will have built in LED indicators: blue when the phone is charging or when the battery itself is fully charged and red when the battery is charging.
The only potential drawback is the price. This handmade Pokéball battery pack will set you back $40, which is quite pricey compared to regular 5,000 something mAh battery packs. In fact, an average 5,000 mAh power bank on Amazon costs a fraction of that, just around $10.
Do you think Pokémon Go users will cough up $40 for this amazingly-crafted battery pack? Have you already placed your order on Etsy? Leave us a comment below, and if you are looking to place an order, click the link below!
