The Canadian studio Outerminds has just released PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist on both Android and iOS. The game features none other than Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg, an outrageously popular internet star with a distinctive way of speaking, as well as a slew of other YouTube “Let’s Play” entertainers including JackSepticEye, Cryaotic, Markiplier, CinnamonToastKen and Marzia.

PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist mixes several genres by blending platforming, side-scrolling action with bullet hell mechanics. It also boasts retro, 8-bit style graphics. The game can be found on Google Play or the App Store with a $5 price tag.

Let’s Players aren’t the only YouTube sensations taking their act to the gaming medium. Several other YouTube personalities are also working on their own games as well. For instance, Jordan Maron (Captain Sparklez) announced in July that he was working with Howard Marks of Activision on a multiplayer mobile game called Fortress Fury.

In addition to making waves in the mobile gaming arena, PewDiePie is currently filming a reality show in Los Angeles, and he’s expected to meet Stephen Colbert on the Late Show early next month. A polarizing figure, PewDiePie has a massive online following consisting primarily of young gamers. His exaggerated facial expressions and wacky vocal inflections amuse some viewers but leave others, like the creators of South Park, scratching their heads.
