New T-Mobile plan perks could be coming next week

Earlier this week, it was reported that T-Mobile was gearing up to offer a new set of perks to its subscribers, with options potentially including subscriptions to Apple Music, YouTube, DoorDash’s DashPass, and more. Now, it appears that those new perks may be coming on Thursday, October 1.

The Mobile Report reported yesterday that, based on information from a source within T-Mobile, it expected something — likely the new perks mentioned above — to launch today, September 23. Now, though, it says that that launch has been delayed, “likely” until the beginning of next month.

None of this is official yet, so take it with a grain of salt. Based on information from The Mobile Report, potential new perks for T-Mobile subscribers include subscriptions related to Apple Music, YouTube, SiriusXM, Paramount Plus, ESPN Plus, Xbox Game Pass, Google AI, and DashPass.

We don’t know what exactly those perks would entail, however. Apple Music and DashPass are straightforward enough, but many of the other services listed offer multiple different products and tiers of service. YouTube, for example, could mean YouTube Music, YouTube Premium, or both. If you’re a T-Mobile subscriber looking forward to some new perks, assume that the ones we’re talking about here will be for the lowest tier of each service — Google AI Plus, Xbox Game Pass Essential, et cetera.

In any case, assuming the latest reporting is accurate, we don’t have much longer to wait to find out. These latest perks could be made available in just a few days, on October 1.
