Motorola One
TL;DR
  • The Motorola One might be a smaller version of the One Power.
  • Besides the size, other differences include the One’s glass back and slightly different camera modules.
  • Otherwise, the One reportedly features the same specifications as the One Power.

From the specs to how it looks, the last handful of weeks told us plenty about the rumored Motorola One Power. The leaks never stop, however, and today’s leak is all about the standard Motorola One.

According to AndroidHeadlines, the One is smaller than the One Power. It is not clear if that is in regards to the display or physical dimensions. Because of the absence of the “Power” moniker, however, the One might feature a smaller battery compared to the One Power.

Another difference looks to be the material choice. If you thought the One Power looked like the iPhone X, take a gander at the alleged white and silver variant of the One in the leaked photo above. It looks like the One goes for aluminum on the sides and glass on the front and back, which differs from the One Power’s aluminum housing.

Even the camera module around back looks different. Whereas the One Power houses the rear dual cameras in the same module, the One reportedly keeps the two cameras separate. The LED flash remains in the middle, however.

Finally, the One reportedly comes in black and white. Up until now, the One Power only showed up in leaks in black.

Otherwise, the One reportedly shares more similarities with the One Power than differences. You even see the same Android One branding on the One’s back, as well as Motorola branding and that wide notch on the front and the lack of a headphone jack.

As a recap, the One Power reportedly features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (2,280 x 1,080) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 12MP and 5MP dual camera combo, 8MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo.

Motorola might announce the One and One Power August 2 at its Chicago office, though the event might have nothing to do with smartphones. Either way, this might not be the last we hear of the Motorola One.
