Some new renders from reliable leaker @OnLeaks were published earlier today on CompareReja. The renders show off what could be the Motorola Moto P40 Play, which could join the rumored Moto P40 and P40 Power that mostly make up the upcoming Moto P40 series.

Looking at the renders, the alleged Moto P40 Play looks to have sizable bezels on the top and bottom of the display. There’s even a notch that houses the selfie camera. The phone supposedly has the “Play” moniker attached to it, so these design choices are easier to swallow when you consider the phone’s potentially-low price tag.

According to CompareReja, the Moto P40 Play features a 5.6-inch display. On the bottom is supposedly a Micro-USB port, with a fingerprint sensor reportedly found around back. Also around back looks to be a 13-megapixel camera, though the renders reveal a second camera with an unknown megapixel count.

It’s possible that the second camera is only used for portrait shots — the Moto P30 Play, also known as the Motorola One, uses its second rear camera as a depth sensor.

Not much else is known about the Moto P40 Play, though it looks and sounds like an entry-level smartphone. We’ll keep an eye out for more information on the phone. In the meantime, let us know in the comments if you’d consider buying the Moto P40 Play.
