TL;DR
  • Motorola has launched the Moto E7 in Europe.
  • The phone retails for €119.99 or £99.

We’ve seen a few Moto E7 leaks emerge before, revealing a pretty capable low-end smartphone for the most part. Now, Motorola has made it official and launched the phone in Europe.

The firm announced the Moto E7 today, and the list of features is indeed true to the leaks for the most part. This means you’re getting a phone with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen (20:9), a rear fingerprint scanner, and a 4,000mAh battery.

The Moto E7 is clearly a low-end device in terms of power too, featuring a Helio G25 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. So expect it to handle the basics just fine, but anything else might be a stretch.

Other noteworthy details include a dual rear camera (48MP main camera and a 2MP macro lens), 5MP selfie shooter, “near stock” Android 10, 10W charging, a water repellent design, and a dedicated Google Assistant button.

In terms of availability, Motorola notes that the phone will launch in “select” European countries for €119.99 (~$143), while those in the UK will be paying £99 (~$132). The Moto E7 will launch in Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East in the “coming weeks.”
