Micromax has announced the launch of a new affordable smartphone – Bharat 5 Pro – in India.

With the Bharat 5 Pro, the domestic smartphone maker has packed in a 5000 mAh battery that offers more than 21 days of standby time and two days of battery life. Interestingly, many years ago, Micromax was the first OEM in the country to launch a phone with 30-days battery life – although, that was a feature phone.

With OTG support, the smartphone can also work as a power bank to charge other devices. The smartphone also boasts of Face Unlock feature which is uncommon in this price segment.
