Amazon Prime continues to invest heavily in fantasy after the success of The Wheel of Time. Now, the streamer is taking folks back to Middle-earth on Prime Video with The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on September 2. To celebrate, we thought it would be fun to jump back a bit with a Lord of the Rings quiz to test your knowledge of Hobbits, rings of power, Gondor, wizards, and more.

The Rings of Power is a prequel to J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. It takes place in the fabled Second Age in Middle-earth’s history, thousands of years before those more well-known stories. It covers younger days in the life of Galadriel and includes the forging of the rings of power and the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron.
