LG G Pad F 7.0 coming to Sprint on March 13th, free with contract
Sprint has just announced that the LG G Pad F 7.0 will be available on the Sprint network beginning March 13th. The G Pad F 7.0 is the carrier’s first LG-made tablet, and will be offered up for free to any current Sprint customers willing to sign a two-year contract with the device.
The LG G Pad F 7.0 has a 7-inch WXGA IPS display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and MicroSD expansion up to 128GB. It also has a 4000mAh battery, a 5MP rear-facing camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. The tablet is running Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and will be available in either Black or White. The G Pad F 7.0 has a handful of familiar LG features like LG Pair, allowing you to pair it up with an Android smartphone to receive and reply to notifications. Other LG features are on the tablet as well, like Knock Code, Gesture Shot, SmartShare Beam and Dual Window.
Sprint is also running a promotion allowing users to lease the tablet and an LG G3 with unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data for $90 per month. The same deal is also available for the LG G Flex 2, only for $95 per month. The LG G Pad F 7.0 will be available in White from March 13th, while the Black model won’t be available until April 10th.
