HTC releases HTCU11 kernel source code for European devs

Those in Europe who are looking to develop a custom ROM for the HTCU11 can now download the official kernel source code from HTC.

It’s been almost two months since the struggling Taiwanese unveiled its peculiar flagship, the HTCU11. Now, the company has released the official kernel source code, at least for devs in Europe. It looks like the source code is only for those that were purchased directly from HTCin the continent or through Vodafone in Austria, France, Germany, and the UK. All weighing at 405MB, the files can be found on HTC’s official website.

While the news may not be so exciting for most users, kernel source code is critical for custom ROM development.
