The countdown begins: Google's Santa Tracker app receives its 2017 update
It’s that time of year again! Google has just updated its Santa Tracker app for 2017.
In case you’re unfamiliar, the Santa Tracker app features holiday-themed mini games, videos, a countdown timer to Christmas, and, of course, a Santa Tracker. Every year on Christmas Eve, you can track Santa as he flies around the world delivering presents. You can also cast the whole thing to your television, making it even more fun.

As of this writing, there are only nine games available to play, but more will be added as we near the end of December. There’s only one video, too, and Google says another will be added on December 15, while the final video will be added on the 23.
The app is just half of it, though. There’s also a Santa Tracker website that features even more holiday games, educational material, and more. I’ve been having some fun with the Santa Dive game, myself.
