The Pixelbook, the rumored high-end Chromebook from Google, will reportedly have a starting price of $1,199 when it goes on sale.

Google has been rumored to be developing another high-end Chromebook for some time. Today, a new report claims to have the first image, and some more info, on this device. The report claims the Chromebook will be called the Google Pixelbook, and will be able to fold its display so it can work like a tablet in addition to a notebook.

Unfortunately, the report from Droid Life doesn’t have much in the way of info in terms of the Pixelbook’s hardware features. It does say it will come in a silver color and will be priced starting at $1,199 for 128 GB of onboard storage. The Pixelbook will also be released in a 256 GB model for $1,399 and in a 512 GB version for $1,749.

The same report also claims that an stylus for Google’s new Chromebook will also be made available. The Pixelbook Pen will be priced around $99 on its own, and the story claims it will be pressure sensitive with no lag, along with tilt support. It’s unclear if Google plans to offer the Pixelbook with the pen in a bundle deal.

As with the other new Google devices that are reportedly coming soon, including the two new Pixel 2 phones, we expect the Pixelbook to be officially announced on October 4. In the meantime, what do you think of the look of this Pixelbook? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
