If you pre-ordered a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL at launch from Google you may have qualified for a free Google Home Mini speaker. At the time, the search giant said that the miniaturized Google Assistant-powered smart speaker would ship within four weeks after buyers received their new phones.

Judging by the growing number of jubilant posts over on Reddit, it seems that day is today as several users have reportedly received emails containing promotional codes. All you need to do to redeem the offer is click the “Redeem now” link in the email and you’ll be redirected to the Google Store where the promotional discount is applied automatically.

While it seems that there are still some consumers who have yet to receive the email, those that have are claiming that the Home Mini offer is actually even better than first advertised.

Apparently the original small print stated that only the standard Chalk color option would be available as part of the pre-order bonus. However, multiple buyers are reporting that they have successfully ordered a Charcoal model, and even the Google Store-exclusive Coral colorway.

For those that have received an email, you’ll need to redeem your freebie before the code’s expiry date on February 18th, 2018. This isn’t too far away, so make sure you claim your speaker while you still can.
