Gionee launches another mid-range smartphone, the X1s, in India

Gionee has launched a new smartphone in its X series, the X1s – a successor to the Gionee X1 launched last month. Apart from the large 4,000 mAh battery, the highlight of the Gionee X1s is its 16-megapixel front camera with selfie flash, along with features like Beautified Video and Face Beauty 2.0.

By launching Gionee X1s we aim to offer our consumers with an outstanding confluence of advanced technology accompanied with enhanced selfie + battery capabilities. We have received a good response for X1 and the aim with the X series is to establish a stronger connect with the younger audience.

Available in two colors – black and gold – the Gionee X1s will be available across all retail stores in India at a price of ₹12,999 ($202) starting September 21.

Gionee’s also packed a few partner offers on purchase of the X1s. New or existing Airtel customers who purchase X1s will get extra 10 GB data each month for a period of 6 months on any data recharge of 1GB or more. Also, every purchase of Gionee X1s will come with 2 Paytm Cashback Voucher Codes entitling customers with ₹250 cash back.
