Best deal yet sees the Garmin vivoactive 6 fall to an all-time low
Sep 16, 2026 — 12:47 PM ET

Amazon just dropped the Garmin vivoactive 6 to $229.99, down from its $299.99 retail price. That saves you $70, which is a 23% discount off the recommended retail price, and it is easily the best price ever for this smartwatch.
That makes now a great time to grab Garmin’s latest health-and-fitness watch. The vivoactive 6 launched in April 2025 with a brighter AMOLED display and a lightweight design featuring an aluminum bezel, a silicone band, 5ATM water resistance, and multiple color options. It is built for all-day wear, and Garmin says it can last up to 11 days in smartwatch mode, which is a big draw compared to many mainstream smartwatches.
On the health side, the Garmin vivoactive 6 includes Body Battery energy monitoring, sleep coaching, heart-rate tracking, stress tracking, and guided meditation or breathing support. For workouts, you get built-in GPS, dozens of preloaded sports apps, and added mobility workouts, so it can handle a wide range of training styles.
It also covers the smartwatch basics well, with Garmin Pay, music downloads for phone-free listening, smart notifications, and safety and tracking tools. More recent software updates have further expanded its feature set, with improved gear tracking and broader fitness and health upgrades.
The Garmin vivoactive 6 also carries a 4.4 out of 5 rating, which adds to its value. At $229.99 on Amazon, this is a standout opportunity to pick up a very capable Garmin watch for much less than usual.
