Fleksy Keyboard

The ever popular Fleksy keyboard app has received a major update, moving the app up to version 5.0. The update includes plenty of new features, themes, and a UI overhaul bringing the app up to Google’s latest standards.

First and foremost, the Material Design UI is pretty much what you would expect, new colors and a layout that will feel familiar if you’ve spent time with the updated Google apps. The interface is further enhanced through the introduction of new themes. There are a total of 14 new premium themes bundled with Fleksy 5.0, including a Chameleon mode that changes the keyboard’s color based on the theme of the app currently in use. You’ll also now find themes for popular movies, such as Frozen and The Hunger Games.

As for the features, Fleksy 5.0 comes with up to seven different extensions. These include a one-handed mode, a GIF keyboard and an invisible keyboard option. Up to three extra extension rows can also be added to the keyboard, if you want an extra layer for numbers for example. Several new typing shortcuts have also been thrown in for good measure.

The only real way to appreciate the scale of this update is to go and check it out for yourself. Here’s the Google Play link.
