Evernote update brings Material Design refresh and more

Evernote has just been updated recently with a new Material Design look, among several other new changes.

Yesterday Evernote officially announced a new update for their app, bringing Evernote to v7.0. The new version of the app brings a healthy dose of Material Design to the experience, with a revamped navigation drawer, bolder colors, smoother screen transitions and more.

While the visual refresh is one of the biggest things, there’s several other new features rolling out in the update including customizable quick notes, support for renaming/deleting tags and more. Here’s the full changelog, courtesy of Evernote:

  • Visual refresh supporting Google’s Material Design principles, including a flatter look, bolder colors, and improved typography
  • Customizable quick notes
  • Long press to add or remove quick note options
  • Revamped navigation
  • Simpler navigation drawer with direct access to shortcuts

  • Support for renaming and deleting tags
  • Numerous bug fixes and enhancements

You can find the updated app now, on Google Play. For those new to Evernote, the note-taking app is free to use, though there are in-app purchases to enhance the experience.
