There’s no word on if either Billy Dee Williams or Donald Glover will be involved. Finally, A Droid Story will be a new animated series that features a new droid that’s guided by R2-D2 and C-3PO.

We also have some new information on some previously announced Star Wars shows. The official name for the Rogue One prequel series will be Star Wars: Andor, and it has just started filming in London. Finally, the name of the Star Wars series from Russian Doll creator Leslye Headland will be The Acolyte. It’s described as a “mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.”

Finally, two new Star Wars feature films are in the works. One is in the early stages and is being written by Taika Waititi. The other is Rogue Squadron and will be directed by Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins. It will focus on a group of space fighter pilots in a period after the end of The Rise of Skywalker. It is due for Christmas 2023.
