Dangbei MP1 MAX projector deal knocks $300 off the 4K Google TV model
Sep 14, 2026 — 12:53 PM ET

The Dangbei MP1 MAX is a 4K smart home projector built for big-screen movie nights, sports, and streaming, and there’s a solid deal on it at Amazon right now. Dangbei gives it a hybrid Triple Laser + LED light engine instead of a standard lamp, which helps it stand out in a crowded projector market.
This model is rated at about 3,100 ISO lumens, so it is aimed at larger-screen living rooms and home theaters. It also packs in Google TV with licensed Netflix, which means streaming is a big part of the package right out of the box. For picture features, the MP1 MAX includes HDR10+, motion smoothing, and automatic setup tools such as autofocus and keystone adjustment. Under the hood, it uses a DLP system with a 0.47-inch TI chip for its 4K image, and connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC plus HDMI 2.0.
Amazon shoppers also seem to like what they’re getting here, with the projector holding a 4.4 out of 5 review score.
The reason to buy now is the price cut. Amazon has the Dangbei MP1 MAX Triple Laser Projector 4K down to $1,299, which is $300 off its $1,599 recommended retail price. That works out to a 19% discount relative to the RRP. This is not the lowest price we have seen this year, but it is still a notable drop on a projector that brings together 4K output, strong brightness, built-in streaming, and modern HDMI support in one package.
