Blue Angels flight simulator soars into the Play Store
Ever felt the urge to coordinate and execute your own airshows from the comfort of your mobile device? If so, that’s a remarkably specific desire to have, but we pass no judgement. If not, hey, it sounds like a pretty fun idea anyway. Thankfully, developer Rortos has unleashed their Blue Angels aerobatic flight simulator on the Google Play Store.
This app, which is licensed by the US Navy, promises to let you experience the thrill of 400 mph coordinated flight from the safety of your Android device. You can execute special maneuvers actually used by the Blue Angels team. Since this simulator was developed in tandem with actual aeronautics experts, you can expect to have absolute control over your aircraft including rudder usage and smoke deployment.
You can take to the air in a team, or as a solo-showboating pilot. Fly through the tutorials and then build your own airshow exhibition using the skills that you’ve honed. If you want to really aim for high altitudes, then feel free to compete with mobile stunt pilots all over the world with the integrated Blue Angels leaderboard.
Blue Angels – Aerobatic SIM is free to play but comes with in-app purchases ranging from $2.99 to $9.99. So far it’s being pretty well-received by the Android community, but you can give it a whirl for yourself by clicking the button below. Test out your abilities, then head back to the comments and let us know what you think of the game!
