PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch 12

Lego games are such a staple in the video game world, no matter what platform you play on. They are super fun to play on the Nintendo Switch though because they are easy games to play either handheld or hooked up to the TV. Super easy to take with you and great to play while traveling, here are some of the best Lego games for the Nintendo Switch.

LEGO DC Super-Villains

If you’re going to buy just one Lego game for your Nintendo Switch, this is the best one. In DC Super-Villains, you not only get to explore an open world within the DC universe; but you get to play the villain. In so many games, you play as the hero who saves the day. In this game, you get to be destructive and wreak havoc on the city, role-playing as some of your favorite DC villains.

Although Batman may not be a playable character in this Nintendo Switch Lego game, you can play as The Joker, Harley Quinn, and so many more famous DC villains. In the game, the Justice League has disappeared and Earth’s new protectors call themselves the Justice Syndicate. It’s your mission to find out what the goals of the Justice Syndicate are and then break them. This game typically retails at $59.99.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 2

This is a less expensive Lego game, retailing at $29.99, but it still packs quite a fun punch. In Lego Marvel Superheroes 2, you can play as both a hero or a villain. Whichever character you decide to play, you’re bound to have tons of fun playing this game. There’s even a baby Groot in this game! Need I say more?

The game takes place over multiple eras and various realities, like Ancient Egypt and New York City in the year 2099. Plus, if the story mode gets too boring for you, there are also battle modes. You can play against your family and friends in different challenges and battle arenas, all while playing as your favorite Marvel character.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

This is yet another Lego game based on a movie, but it’s one of the best Lego games for Nintendo Switch nonetheless. You can play as all of your favorite ninjas from the movie, including Lloyd, Jay, Kai, Master Wu, and more. There are 8 different locations to explore and you can experience a different Challenge Dojo in each location.

You can wall-run, high-jump, and so much more. Plus, a lot of other Lego games are 2 player co-op, but in this game, you can play on Battle Maps with up to four players.

LEGO City Undercover

Lego City Undercover is another great Lego game that you can get for Nintendo Switch at only $29.99. In this game, you play as Chase McCain, an undercover police officer tasked with taking down a criminal, Rex Fury. Rex Fury is causing all kinds of havoc across the city and it’s Chase’s job to put a stop to it.

There’s a ton of fun content in this game, with over 20 unique districts to explore. In each district, you’ll find different vehicles to drive, collectibles, and witty movie references. This game doesn’t stray too far from classic Lego storytelling and gameplay. And that’s a good thing! You can also choose to play co-op with another player if you don’t feel like exploring by yourself.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection

If you love the wizarding world of Harry Potter and you’re looking for a Lego game, this is a no-brainer. This is the only Lego game that really dwells on magical things like spell-casting and potion-making. Although the gameplay may be a little different, it’s still similar to other Lego games in that it’s simple to catch on to.
