- The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro will be available on October 7, for $169.99.
Anker’s Soundcore brand has just released the Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, marking the latest in a line of flagship earbuds. This new set of noise-cancelling earbuds accommodates all kinds of music listeners from the remote worker to the commuter. These earbuds use HearID to adjust the active noise-cancelling (ANC) in real-time. Just as the earbuds before it, the Liberty 3 Pro house two drivers per earbud for clear audio and loud bass.
HearID isn’t just for noise-cancelling performance, as it can also create a custom sound profile from a quick hearing test. That way, you’re not stuck with Soundcore’s generally bass-heavy sound that the Liberty 2 Pro demonstrates. A Knowles balanced armature driver works in tandem with a large 10.6mm dynamic driver. When you pair this hardware with the SBC, AAC, and LDAC Bluetooth codec support, you get a technically impressive feature set.
What’s more, the earbuds have an IPX4 water-resistant build and are a solid choice for the gym. Sleek wing tips promote a secure fit no matter the activity. You can keep both earbuds in during outdoor exercise and enable transparency mode, which amplifies external noise through the headset.
Bluetooth 5.2 connects the earbuds to a smartphone and increases energy efficiency compared to Bluetooth 5.0 peripherals. This efficiency shows, as standalone battery life clocks in at six hours with ANC on. Meanwhile, a 15-minute charge supplies an additional three hours of playtime to the ‘buds. The USB-C case supports wireless charging and totals 24 hours of battery with ANC on, or 32 hours with ANC off.
Let’s not forget the headset’s advanced microphone array since microphone quality is more important than ever. Soundcore packs six microphones into the Liberty 3 Pro, three in each earbud. AI uplink technology reduces background noise so just your voice is transmitted during a phone call. Seeing how the Liberty 2 Pro earbuds have a decent microphone system, we expect the Liberty 3 Pro to have an even better one.
The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro will be available on October 7, and retail for $169.99 in the US, $199.99 in Canada, €159.99 in Germany and Europe, and £139.99 in the UK. The earbuds come in four colors: Midnight Black, Frost White, Fog Gray, and Dusk Purple.
