Alienware

We here at Android Authority like to consider ourselves decent gamers. You might find yourself in the same boat, but it’s time to prove your worth. If you’ve ever wanted to flex your gaming muscle to win cash, glory, and more, now is your chance. Gaming PC legend Alienware is hosting its Alienware Games, and the arena is open to all US residents!

When does the battle begin, and what can I play?

Whether the cash caught your attention or you’re just looking for a chance to show off, there are a few details you need to know first. For starters, the 2021 Alienware Games run from August 27 to October 7, 2021, for a total of six weeks.

Each week functions as its own leg of the contest, with gamers taking on four popular titles. You can choose from Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, and Rainbow 6 Siege. Only one gamer will advance from each title for the first five weeks for a total of 20 finalists before Alienware ups the ante. Once week six rolls around, Alienware will open its wild card slots, allowing the top three finishers in each game through to the final for a total of 32 semi-finalists.

Alright, how do I rack up points?

If you’re eager to jump right into the action, it’s time to work on your strategy. You have a few more days to practice before August 27 rolls around, so keep your hands on those keys. Once the 2021 Alienware Games kick-off, there are a few ways to rack up points with in-game achievements. The more matches you win, kills you score, and assists you contribute, the more points you’ll get.

Throughout each respective week, Alienware is planning to reward players for their excellence with in-game currency. Think about that: free V-Bucks, Riot Points, and more for just battling your way to the top. You can then use that currency to keep yourself ahead and make your in-game character look that much better.

At the end of each week, the Alienware Games judges will head to the leaderboard and find out who gained the most points. That lucky gamer will sail right on through to compete against 31 other contestants in the semi-finals.

Gamers who reach the semi-finals will then be split into four groups to compete in a mini-tournament for two coveted spots in the finale. Finally, the top two gamers in each group will compete for their share of the final prize pool in a live broadcast on October 23, 2021.

Cash and glory, you say?

Sure, gaming is fun. But you know what else is fun? Winning. So, let’s talk prizes. All eight finalists will go head to head for their share of the cash prize pool, but only the best will claim the largest prize. The winning finalist will earn a grand prize of $15,000 and the title of 2021 Alienware Games Grand Champion! The runner-up will be awarded $10,000, third-place receives $7,500, fourth-place earns $5,000, 5th-8th gets $2,500 each, and all semi-qualifiers that didn’t advance to the finale will each take in $1,000 apiece.

Of course, Alienware is a legendary gaming PC powerhouse, so the rewards don’t stop at cash. All 32 semi-finalists will receive a brand-new Alienware X15 laptop just for earning their place.

For those who haven’t met the latest Alienware flagship yet, the X15 offers up to an 11th-generation Intel Core i7-11800H processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 GPU. It’s a sure-fire way to upgrade your battle station, and all you have to do is show off your skills.
