The $400 Aina smart ring comes with a tiny display to manage your AI agents
Nov 6, 2026 — 5:50 AM ET

- Aina is a smart ring with a screen and a button.
- The bigger attraction is its context-aware cues, which interact with your phone and PC to control them or interact with your AI agents.
- The onboard AI is claimed to predict your next steps and take action automatically, such as ordering an Uber only after you finish breakfast.
- It’s available for pre-ordering and will start shipping early next year.
Smart rings have lately been seen as viable alternatives to smartwatches because of their non-existent footprint, which makes them easier to wear all day. However, smart rings lack the interactive features of a smartwatch, or other abilities that make them an extension of your smartphone, not just another accessory. An AI company now plans to solve that by bringing together the best of both worlds, adding smartwatch-like controls to its first smart ring.
Aina is a new smart ring with a tiny screen that wraps around your finger. Its maker, which shares the same name, does not share specifics about this display, except that it’s an OLED, but that’s possibly because it’s not being marketed as the main selling point for this smart ring. Instead, Aina is focusing on its context-aware operating system that digs information from your phone, PC, any AI agents, or other software you may use and establishes patterns to learn about your preferences.
The brand claims, “Aina surfaces exactly what you need, on the ring’s display, just before you need it.” Some of the examples it shares include the possibility of booking your Uber just when you finish your breakfast or letting an agent send an email or a text. The ring also features a microphone, which you can use to take notes or interact with any AI agent of your choice. Requests for any approvals the agents might require show up on the ring’s display, and you use the touch-enabled capacitive area or the buttons on the ring to approve or dismiss such requests.
The ring is also claimed to automatically adapt to whatever you’re doing. It turns into a music controller when you’re out on a run, and becomes a controller for your microphone, camera, or an automatic notetaker when you’re in an online meeting. Aina also says the ring can act as a remote controller for your TV, but doesn’t confirm which brands are supported.
Does the Aina ring work with Android?

Aina confirms that the ring currently works with iOS and Mac — but not Android at the moment. We’ve reached out to the brand for clarity on support for Android and will share details when we hear back.
Meanwhile, it doesn’t talk about basics such as the battery capacity or how long it lasts per charge. Many other similar questions, including those about its fitness tracking features, remain unanswered, and the claims from the brand’s own marketing are currently unverified.
If you’re still intrigued, the Aina smart ring is available for pre-order for $399, and deliveries are expected to begin by January 2027. The price will increase once the smart ring starts shipping, and then again once it’s widely available.
