Do you like bamboo back covers? Have you been looking to buy a Xiaomi Mi Note? Then you will surely be please to know that Xiaomi has announced the stylish Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition today. In typical Xiaomi fashion, it won’t cost you a fortune either.
Technical specifications remain the same as the original Mi Note, which features a Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB RAM and a dual 4G SIM slot. There is still the same 2.5D curved glass and metal frame on the handset too, but the 0.9mm bamboo material on the back means that the handset weighs around 5 grams lighter than the standard model.
The Mi Note bamboo edition is priced at ¥ 2299, which works out to approximately $370, making it no more expensive than the regular model. Registration to buy one begins today, before the special edition handset goes on sale on March 24th, which is next Tuesday.
