Sony and even Google have gone to quite a lot of trouble to make people know James Bond uses an Xperia T as a work device, but if you really want to make your T look like something out of MI6’s chest of goodies, there’s a special Skyfall themed pack up for grabs on XDA.

Thanks to ruwsoft and JJD809, this weighs in at a little over 80 MB and includes a bunch of original images, wallpapers, ringtones and notifications with 007 written all over them. On top of all that, you’ll also get a theme that will tweak your OS’s UI Bond style. Don’t worry, the whole thing will be shaken and not stirred, so it won’t mess up with the smooth running of your Android 4.0 ICS.

If you want to install, the first thing you’ll have to do is root your Xperia T. It’s smooth sailing from there, as you’ll only have to download the pack, copy the Skyfall.apk file to the “system/vendor/overlay/framework” folder, change permissions (if needed) and reboot.

There are no major glitches or bugs reported just yet, but in case you’re not exactly sure what you’re doing or encounter any issue, check the original thread and ask for help.

We’d also be interested to hear if the goodies pack works fine on AT&T’s version of the phone, the Xperia TL, too, so if you happen to own one of those and want some extra Skyfall exclusive content, do try it and let us know if everything’s okay. And, naturally, don’t forget to have fun! Bond certainly always does…
