In a press event in New Delhi today, Panasonic announced that the company is rebooting its smartphone business in India and shared details of its grand marketing plans for the remainder of the financial year, especially during the festive season ahead.

At the event, the company also announced the launch of two new smartphones, the Eluga A3 and A3 Pro. Manish Sharma, President & CEO of Panasonic India said that he believes the company’s in-house developed artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual assistant – Arbo, that is baked into Eluga smartphones, will be a key differentiator.

While the Panasonic Eluga A3 is priced at INR 11,290 ($177), the A3 Pro is priced at INR 12,790 ($200). Both Eluga A3 and A3 Pro come in three colors – Mocha Gold, Gold, and Grey, and will be available from August 10 across all Panasonic brand shops and other retail stores across the country.
