Acclaimed supernatural thriller Oxenfree is now available on Android

Are you a fan of Stranger Things? Freaks and Geeks? What about Poltergeist? If so, you should head over to the Play Store right now and download Oxenfree.

First launched on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 last year, Oxenfree is a supernatural adventure/thriller game from the folks at Night School Studio. In the game you play as Alex, a rebellious teenager who brings her step brother Jonas to a party on an abandoned island, along with a few other friends. Alex opens up a “ghostly” gate spawned from the island’s past, and it’s your job to determine what happens to your friends and how to deal with creatures and events along the way.

There are a fair amount of puzzles in this game, which you’ll solve by finding the correct frequency on your handheld radio. The radio will allow you to communicate with ghosts, unlock doors, and more.

Oxenfree is beautifully crafted from the hand-drawn art style to the synth-pop soundtrack. I really do think you’ll have a great time playing this game, and it’s absolutely worth the $4.99 price point. If you’re interested, head to the Play Store link below for the download.
