Motorola Moto 360 leather and steel bands

There has been expectation that Motorola would eventually offer individual bands for the Moto 360 smartwatch, and that day has arrived with new leather bands, which will run you $30 and metal offerings that come in at $80.

The new bands area available on the Motorola website in various colors to outfit your Android Wear powered circular smartwatch.

Motorola recommends that you take your Moto 360 and your new watch band in to a professional watch repair shop to have your band installed. Normally, we would at least suggest a little do-it-yourself work, but in this case, we’ve seen too many of you requiring warranty replacement for a cracked watch base around the band mounts, best not risk voiding your warranty for something like this.

The Moto 360 is still one of the better Android Wear smartwatches around. As a full circular design, it is also a one of a kind. That unique nature continues inside the watch as well, unfortunately, in that the Moto 360 is equipped with a Texas Instruments processor, instead of the Snapdragon 400 you’ll find in most other Android Wear devices.

Be sure to check out our Motorola Moto 360 review if you would like to know more about the watch that belongs to these new bands.

To get your hands on the new bands, head on over to the Motorola website where you’ll find the leather band in black, stone or cognac for $29.99 and the stainless steel band in a light or dark finish for $79.99.

What do you think, are any of these bands going to land on your wrist?
