LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens Android

It was only a matter of time until the latest episode in the decades-long Star Wars saga made it into the LEGO universe. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now available on Android as a free install with in-app purchases (required to unlock anything beyond level 1).

It’s the same run-of-the-mill gameplay you’d already know from the LEGO Star Wars titles, but why mess with a proven recipe? But this time you’ve got all the characters, settings and storyline along with some awesome unseen back story. You’ll have to unlock characters as you progress, but you can play as all characters in the movie, including Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma.

The reviews in the Play Store seem to be pretty mixed so far, with the typical fans loving everything while others complain about everything from freezes to the paid gameplay structure. It’s worth installing for the first level alone though, after which time you’ll know if you think it’s worth investing 10 bucks in. It’s close to 1 GB in size though, so make sure you have plenty of room on your device.
