Unveiled in April last year, the Amazon Alexa-powered CoWatch has now been rebranded as the iMCO Watch, and is now available in India via Yerha.com.

The iMCO Watch brings Alexa’s voice-based assistant functionality like asking for weather, controlling your smart home, looking up information on the Wen, or ordering stuff online.

The iMCO Watch sports a 400 x 400 pixel AMOLED display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage. It boasts of accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer as well as a heart sensor.

The smartwatch is made entirely of stainless steel apart from the ceramic ring, and is dust and water resistant. You can activate Alexa by pressing down the crown button or by tapping the Alexa icon on the display. There’s no voice-activation like Echo devices though.

iMCO Watch runs on Chronologics OS, company’s own Android-based operating system. While it is compatible with both Android and iOS, all computing on Chronologics happens either on the watch or on the cloud, so the watch is not necessarily reliant on the smartphone to work.

Available in two color variants – Mineral Silver and Carbon Black – the iMCO Watch is available for ₹14,990 ($232) from Yerha, the homegrown e-commerce startup in India.
