Sources are suggesting that the powerhouse Motorola Droid Turbo is set to go on sale on October 30th. We already know that the smartphone will be unveiled on October 28th, apparently leaving just a two day delay between the announcement and the handset’s arrival in stores.

The smartphone has been leaked various times already, so there probably aren’t many surprises left for the launch event. If you missed out on the specs leaks, the Motorola Droid Turbo is packing some pretty serious hardware:

  • Snapdragon 805 clocked at 2.65GHz
  • 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage
  • 1440 x 2560 resolution display
  • Android 4.4.4
  • 20MP rear camera, 2MP front camera

If you’re planning on heading down to the store on launch day but can’t wait until the 30th to see inside the retail box, the following tweet should satisfy.

The handset is expect to retail exclusively through Verizon and could already be in store stockrooms awaiting release. The estimated retail price is $599, although subsidised contract options should be available too. Will you be picking one up come launch day?
