Remember the classic horror title ‘I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream’ that was launched in 1995 for the PC? If you’ve been itching to experience it all over again with touchscreen-friendly controls, now you can, thanks to the folks at DotEmu. The video game publisher specializes in bringing classic PC games to mobile devices, and I Have No Mouth is the latest to make its way to Android.

In case you’re unfamiliar, I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream is a point-and-click adventure title that was originally published by Cyberdreams in ’95 for the PC. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where an evil computer named AM has destroyed everything in the world, except for five people. AM has been keeping every one of the surVivors alive for 109 years, terrorizing them just for fun. Each character in the game has a particular weakness and must do their best to make their way through the puzzles and adventures AM has set up for them. This game certainly isn’t for the faint-of-heart, as you might have guessed.

The end goal of the game is to show that humans are, in fact, better than computers, as humans have the chance to redeem themselves. You’ll travel through each one of the surVivors’ pasts and confront fears and weaknesses along the way. Although it doesn’t sound all that pleasant, this game is actually very interesting and exciting.

In the Android version, you’ll be able to change between touch and classic control modes, alter graphics filters and choose different soundtracks. It seems as though, once again, DotEmu has done a great job at porting over another classic title. I Have No Mouth doesn’t feature any advertisements, in-app purchases or hidden costs of any kind, though it will cost you a one-time fee of $3.99 for the download.
