It’s CES 2017 and we’re in Las Vegas for the show! Joshua Vergara leads the way through several episodes of our daily podcasting efforts from the show, and there is more than enough to talk about. Jonathan Feist, David Imel, Edgar Cervantes and more from Android Authority are joined by guests from all over, including Nicole Scott (@nicole_scooter), Jaime Rivera (@jaime_rivera), Juan Carlos Bagnell (@SomeGadgetGuy), Hayato Huseman (@hayatohuseman), Stephen Schenck (@stephanschenk) Patrick Norton (@paricknorton) and more.

Keeping on the topic of CES and technology, mostly, spirited conversations turn to laughs as inside jokes roll freely. There are many great things at CES this year, from Bluetooth tech to Alexa to autonomous cars, a few phones, Alexa, some great laptops and gaming rigs, and, did I mention Amazon’s Alexa? We don’t say this often, Google, through Google Assistant and Android, has some serious catch up to do.

The Android Authority Podcast – discussing topics in Android every week.

CES 2017 Podcast #1

We’re back at CES 2017 with the first in a series of daily podcasts hosted by Joshua Vergara! In this first episode, recorded right on the floor of Pepcom Digital Experience in the Mirage hotel, Josh is joined by AA team members Edgar, Jonathan, and David with a bunch of special guests!

Nicole Scott of MobileGeeks, Hayato Huseman with PocketNow, Myriam Joire, and Stephen Schenck of PhoneArena, and a couple of new faces all come together for a discussion-heavy, tangent-riddled, and fun podcast that dives into a lot of the tech that we have been able to see in Las Vegas so far for CES 2017!

CES 2017 Podcast #3

Josh sits down with one of the first people that got him into technology – the great Patrick Norton of TekThing and classic TechTV days. They sit down to talk about CES and Patrick goes off about how much he loves music and audio, all in front of the gondola rides of the Venetian Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, the camera cuts out at around the 3 minute mark, but we still uploaded this great episode of the podcast for your listening pleasure. Enjoy this podcast with Patrick Norton!

CES 2017 Podcast #4 (final)

The show is over – CES 2017 has come to a close! Josh, Jonathan, Lanh and Andrew Grush hang out for a bit to discuss the best and our favorites from our week in Las Vegas. Phones, laptops, smart cars, drones and so much more. We all agree that AI is the wave of the future, or at least the goal of the manufacturers and products we experienced at the show. Amazon’s Alexa was the name we witnessed more than any other, support for the service was everywhere.

This episode breaks into two segments, with the crew coming to you from the closing moments on the show floor, then join Josh and Jonathan as they discuss the future of the podcast. We have great things coming to the Android Authority Podcast, we can’t wait to tell you more.

Thank you so much for joining us on this adventure. We hope you enjoyed CES 2017, we certainly did.
