Do you have some Amazon returns taking up space in the house? Boxing them up and shipping them out can sometimes be a pain, but you won’t have to deal with that much longer. Instead, you can just bring your Amazon returns to your local Kohl’s.

According to a Kohl’s press release, the Amazon returns program that initially ran in limited areas of the United States will launch nationwide in July. Kohl’s and Amazon will roll out the program to all of Kohl’s more than 1,150 locations across 48 states.

When returning an Amazon item to Kohl’s you won’t have to worry about boxing the items up. You don’t even need a label, just bring them in and Kohl’s will take care of the rest, free of charge.

Kohl’s does say that the service applies to “eligible items” only, but this likely will just prohibit you from returning certain items that would be a nightmare to ship, such as gas grills, kayaks, or other very large items.

While this does seem like a counter-intuitive move for Kohl’s to make, it’s actually pretty brilliant. A customer coming into Kohl’s to return an Amazon item will likely see something they want to buy and be more apt to buy it from Kohl’s. Additionally, the partnership between the two companies enables Kohl’s to sell Amazon products, such as Echo smart speakers.
