Sony’s latest round of Xperia flagships have been announced and floating around for about a month now, and the U.S. is getting their go at them too. Sony has updated their listing of the Xperia Z3 Compact to add an expected shipping date of November 3rd.

We only just announced that Sony has the 4.7-inch mini up for Pre-Order on their U.S. site, going for $529.99, or less if you are a student, this shipping date is a pleasant update.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact Shipping date
The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is, as you might assume, the ‘mini’ version to Sony’s current flagship, the 5.2-inch Xperia Z3. The full Z3 is expected to ship by the end of October itself. On the flip side of this, don’t forget about the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, measuring in at 8-inches, the tablet is expected to ship by November 2nd.

Back to that Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. What we have here is one of the most capable ‘mini’ phones on the market today. Or, at least I should say that this is one of the closest to true form offerings we’ve seen. Many of the other mini versions out there offer a reduced device in more ways than just size, typically compromising specs along the way to a majorly reduced price tag as well. While the Z3 Compact is not true to form Z3 with a small screen, it isn’t far off.

If you prefer the 4.7-inch form factor, and can live with 720p resolution, the Z3 Compact will treat you to the Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and that same big 20.7MP camera. Not half bad.

Head on over to the Sony website to Pre-Order your Sony Xperia Z3 Compact for just $529.99, if this sounds like the phone for you.

To that end, is the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact the phone for you?
