The Xiaomi Mi 10T series launched roughly a year ago as the firm’s flagship family for the second half of 2020. Now, Xiaomi is doing the same thing this year with the newly launched 11T series, with these also being the firm’s first flagships without the Mi moniker.

Much like last year’s phones, we’ve got three devices in the Xiaomi 11T family, namely the 11T Pro, the standard 11T, and the 11T Lite 5G NE. All three phones in the 11T series offer NFC, an IR blaster, a side fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. Here’s what else you should know about them.

Our verdict: Xiaomi 11T Pro review

Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro

The standard Xiaomi 11T (seen above) and 11T Pro are both flagship-level smartphones, and they share a number of features. They both offer a flat 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED panel (FHD+), the same triple rear camera system (108MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP telemacro), a 5,000mAh battery, and a 16MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout. You’re also getting dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.

These similarities end here for the most part, as the 11T Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC while the standard 11T is equipped with a Dimensity 1200 Ultra processor. Both are flagship-level chipsets, but the Snapdragon chipset (and the 11T Pro) supports 8K recording while the MediaTek chipset lacks this feature.

Xiaomi’s Pro phone is also equipped with 120W wired charging compared to 67W for the standard model. Either way, you’re still getting fast charging times of 17 minutes and 36 minutes respectively, as well as bundled chargers. Neither phone has wireless charging though, so those looking for a Xiaomi device with this feature should consider the standard Mi 11.

The mid-range offering in this family actually seems to be the Mi 11 Lite 5G with a different chipset. Yep, the powerful Snapdragon 780G SoC has been replaced by the slightly less capable but still beefy Snapdragon 778G processor.

Otherwise, the 11T Lite 5G NE (to give its convoluted name) has the same spec sheet as the Mi 11 Lite 5G. 6.55-inch 90Hz OLED panel at FHD+ resolution? Yep. A 4,250mAh battery with 33W wired charging? Indeed. The same 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP telemacro rear camera trio? Of course. It even looks identical to the earlier release.

Xiaomi 11T series pricing

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is obviously the most expensive model of the lot, starting at €649 (~$768) for the 8GB/128GB variant, €699 (~$827) for the 8GB/256GB model, and €749 (~$886) for the 12GB/256GB option. Want something a little cheaper? Then the standard 11T starts at €499 (~$590) for the 8GB/128GB model and €549 (~$649) for the 8GB/256GB variant.

Xiaomi’s Lite model starts at €369 (~$436) for the 6GB/128GB model, with 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants available as well.
