Wind-Up Knight 2 finally released worldwide

After originally launching in Canada, Wind-Up Knight 2 has finally launched globally, bringing us a much-anticipated sequel to the original platformer.
April 10, 2014

After first arriving to Canada and select other regions, Wind-Up Knight 2 is finally launching the game worldwide! In addition to bringing worldwide support for the game, today’s update also includes several bug fixes.

Like its predecessor, Wind-Up Knight 2 is a side-scrolling platformer with cutesy animated graphics, combined with beautiful 3D design. The game not only has plenty of levels to make your way through, there’s also several side-quests, and a tournament mode for challenging your friends. As with the original game, Wind-Up Knight 2 even boasts the ability to use items and power-ups to further customize your knight.

Overall, Wind-Up Knight 2 has a lot in common with the original, though its graphics have been improved, its worlds and levels have gotten a lot bigger, and there’s also several new mechanics introduced into the game. If you enjoyed the first game, you’ll certainly want to check this one out. For those that enjoy platformer type games, it’s also worth the try. Even better, the game is free-to-play, although there are a number of in-app purchases. Whether that’s a good thing or deal-breaker is probably a matter of personal taste.
