Less than 48 hours after picking up on a leaked warehouse inventory document listing a white HTC EVO 4G LTE as coming soon, the new version of Sprint’s phone is now all but confirmed. Two new pieces of “evidence” on the existence of a white EVO 4G LTE have come to our attention, and we’re willing to bet it’s only a matter of time until Sprint will issue an official statement confirming the new handheld.

First off, today’s most solid and credible proof comes straight from Sprint, who’s unintentionally published a photo of the upcoming white EVO 4G LTE. At least we think it was unintentional, giving that this first glimpse of the supposed upcoming smartphone can be caught in a banner promoting a special Sprint $100 porting offer.

Then again, the pic showing off this new flavor of the HTC flagship has been on Sprint’s website for almost a full day and there’s no sign that the carrier is planning to take it off. Therefore, we can assume that either Sprint planned to tease us with the white EVO 4G LTE this way from the get-go or they made the boo-boo and decided to ignore it for some reason.

While we can’t tell much about the supposed future white model of the EVO 4G LTE from Sprint’s photo, we can notice we’re not exactly dealing with a 100% “pure” white version of the phone. A shade of silver is easily noticeable in the pic, so this new version of the phone might actually be something special and new.

The second piece of evidence supporting the existence of a white HTC EVO 4G LTE smartphone is an eBay listing picked up by cmonsterf50, one of PhoneArena’s commentators on this post. The listing mentions the product as being currently not available, but coming soon, which thickens the plot even more.

No photo of a white EVO 4G LTE is available on the eBay listing page, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the listing itself is a fake. It doesn’t make it very believable either, though, so for the time being we should classify this as “inconclusive proof”.

Be that as it may, it’s very possible to see a white (and silver) version of Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G LTE officially introduced and released by the carrier in the near future, so stay tuned on our website. In the meantime, let us know if you’d be interested in this new EVO 4G LTE flavor and if you’re a bit pissed that the white model hasn’t been made available at the same time with the black version.
